Diddy hearing: The judge in music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial is expected to issue a ruling Monday on bail after Combs appeared in court for a pretrial hearing Friday. Combs has been detained for more than two months. He was denied bail in September when the indictment was unsealed and again earlier in November as the judge deemed him a flight risk due to his money and connections. The latest > 

The arguments: Attorneys for Combs argue he should be released since the technology available to him in jail is inadequate for him to prepare for his May trial given the volume of discovery. They have proposed conditions, including using a GPS monitor and putting one of his mansions up as collateral. Diddy case: Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges following his Sept. 16 arrest. DOGE: Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are leaning on the Supreme Court to support their plans to slash federal regulations and increase government efficiency. Tapped by President-elect Donald Trump, Musk and Ramaswamy will head the newly minted “Department of Government Efficiency,” or DOGE. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, the duo wrote: “With a decisive electoral mandate and a 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court, DOGE has a historic opportunity for structural reductions in the federal government.” The op-ed leans on the idea that the Supreme Court may reject challenges to DOGE initiatives, but legal and financial experts suggest the court has not given the entrepreneurs much leeway for sweeping change. What’s happening: Small drones were spotted last week around three U.S. Air Force bases in eastern England, the military branch confirmed. Between Wednesday and Friday, multiple unidentified drones were detected near RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell, which are used by American forces.
