Police looking for Las Vegas man reported missing from nursing home

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas police have issued a Silver Alert for a man who walked away from a nursing home early Tuesday morning.

Police said Harry Boyd, 76, suffers from dementia and other medical conditions and was last seen around 12:40 a.m. at the Mission Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located at 2860 E. Cheyenne Avenue which is near the College of Southern Nevada’s North Las Vegas campus.

Boyd is described as a Black man, who is 6’1″ and weighs around 150 pounds. He has gray hair and black eyes.

Police said they contacted local hospitals, jails, the coroner’s office, Nevada State Police, and the RTC but have not been able to locate Boyd.
