TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested Tuesday after intentionally crashing his pickup truck into the USAA building, according to Tampa police.

Robert Beaty, 70, was denied entry to the building when he arrived at around 2:12 p.m. and demanded to speak to a USAA representative.

Police said Beaty put on a helmet and “drove recklessly” through the parking garage, damaging fences on the property. He was accused of intentionally striking a SUV with security personnel inside.
