(NewsNation) — Nevada voters headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in some pivotal races in the 2024 general election.

Presidential race in Nevada

Former President Donald Trump is projected to win Nevada with 50.7% of votes.

US Senate race in Nevada

In addition to casting ballots in the race for the White House between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Nevada voters will decide on a U.S. Senate race and a list of ballot initiatives.

Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen is projected to win his re-election bid against Republican challenger Sam Brown. 

Rosen unseated Republican former Sen. Dean Heller in 2018. 

Brown is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and finished as the runner-up in the 2022 Republican primary for the Senate race.

US House races in Nevada

Four U.S. House races will also be decided as Rep. Dina Titus, D-District 1, Rep. Mark Amodei, R-District 2, Rep. Susie Lee, D-District 3, and Rep. Steven Horsford, D-District 4, all faced challenges for re-election.

Titus is projected to retain her seat.

According to the Cook Political Report, only Lee’s race against Republican Drew Johnson, is expected to be competitive.

Statewide ballot measures in Nevada

A measure protecting abortion before the point of fetal viability is projected to pass in Nevada.

Nevada voters also passed a measure requiring residents to present photo identification when voting or verify their identity through a social security number or driver’s license when voting by mail, NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ projects. 

Nevada voters rejected a proposal to establish an open top-five primary and rank choice voting.
