One critical race features Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego defeated Republican Kari Lake for Arizona’s open U.S. Senate seat. Green Party candidate Eduardo Quintana also vied for the seat.
Lake has vocally denied the 2020 presidential election results and has remained a supporter of former President Donald Trump, receiving his endorsement both in her previous 2022 bid for governor as well as her current senatorial bid.
Gallego is a former Marine Corps vet who has served as the Congressman for Arizona’s 3rd Congressional district since 2015.

Republican incumbent Rep. David Schweikert is projected to win reelection in the Arizona Congressional District 1 race, according to NewsNation / Decision Desk HQ.
