(NewsNation) — The Los Angeles County district attorney is recommending Lyle and Erik Menendez be resentenced after being convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents. Criminal defense attorney David Gelman believes the Menendez brothers could be released by Christmas, and they can thank recent Netflix documentaries for the renewed attention on their case.
