(NewsNation) — Cheryl Hines may be writing a tell-all book about her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but she isn’t showing all. 

Hines — who weathered the digital affair Kennedy had with New York writer Olivia Nuzzi earlier this year — has been taking a lot of flak from her liberal Hollywood friends about Kennedy endorsing Trump, and now being nominated for the secretary of Health and Human Services (despite his stance on vaccines) … but jaws dropped when Hollywood elite found out where Hines was on election night.

Marla Maples, Trump’s second wife and mother to Tiffany Trump, posted to Instagram a photo of Hines and Kennedy partying it up at Mar-a-Lago election evening with UFC chief Dana White, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy. Hines, a staunch Democrat, was said to have been so upset over Kennedy joining Team Trump, multiple outlets reported she may divorce him over it… Reports that are now bunk.

“She’s not going anywhere,” one insider told me. “People in Hollywood are freaked out about this transformation. We’ll see how many ‘friends’ stick by her when she goes to Washington.”

Hines has discussed reactions to her husband’s foray into politics in the past, telling US Weekly: “People have a lot of feelings about politics, especially in Hollywood, and I don’t know. I mean, so far I feel like it’s OK,” she said. “I’m OK to have conversations like that with people and, to me, it doesn’t define somebody. To some people it does and it’s like you can’t control it. There’s nothing I can do about it, so I have to let it wash over me.”

A representative for Hines declined to comment.
