(NewsNation) — State Sen. James Skoufis, D-N.Y., wants to lead the Democratic National Committee, outlining some of the ways the party can get stronger.

After a crushing loss against Donald Trump, Democrats are rethinking their strategy moving forward, which should include his practice of “meeting voters where they are” and returning to the party’s “working class, populist, union roots,” Skoufis explained.
